With the spoiler release of the new J/Ruler, Kaguya, there are new interactions and thus Force of Will Judge Shaughnessy Connor has created a new Judge of Will article over at Fowtcg.us to discuss the impact of the new ability featured on the card. Kaguya returns with a whole new set of tricks. From creating wind will from moons to drawing cards when a moon enters, there’s plenty going on just on the ruler side of Kaguya. However, it is the J-Ruler side where all the real fun happens. Once Kaguya j-activates, she can do a whole lot more including getting counters when cards are cast with awakening to preventing damage to herself. But it is her ability to cancel target automatic abilities that is sure to be the center of attention. There are sure to be lots of questions on what exactly her cancel ability feature can’t and can’t target. So, the article provides examples of both aspects of the new ability. In addition, Judge Stephanie Shaw added to the conversation on Facebook covering a few points not covered in the article.
The possibilities for building a Light and/or Wind control deck are astounding. We here at FoWHub are positive that we will see the Moonlit Savior in some competitive decks in the next few months. Some people are calling her the new Abdul! Will she be that good? We all will have to wait and see.
